Recently Banker Insulation sponsored a puppy with Canine Companions for Independence® (http://www.cci.org/). Founded in 1975, Canine Companions for Independence® is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
Banker ran an employee contest to select the puppy’s name and Zada was the winner! The winning name was submitted by Randi Karges who is an army veteran and spearheads their military community involvement. The puppy then became Zada III because she is the third Zada with Canine Companions for Independence®.
Little Zada III is an adorable Golden Retriever puppy who has been on many adventures in her first months of training. She has visited horse stables, the gym, and plays tennis with her puppy raiser. Zada is referred to as the “Zen Master” since at home she loves to hang out with her pup friends Scout and Cooper.
Zada is loving, smart and … so cute!
Zada III Grows Up
Zada III is the Golden Retriever puppy that Banker Insulation sponsored with Canine Companions for Independence® (http://www.cci.org/). She is now six months old and is progressing in her training with her volunteer puppy raiser. She is very calm and has a great temperament. Her favorite command is down/stay. Her puppy raiser puts her in this position so small children can pet and interact with her.
Zada III is very social and is great around people and other dogs. During a recent outing to the Tesla showroom, she checked out the Model X. (add photo) She will work with her puppy trainer until she graduates in the summer of 2020. Zada will then be placed in her forever home with a deserving disabled person who she will assist with physical tasks and emotional support.
